40 years of Flair Hotels
One of the largest hotel cooperations in Germany was founded in Franconia more than 40 years ago. Today the cooperation consists of more than 40 Flair houses in Germany and Austria. The office is in Ochsenfurt in Lower Franconia.
As early as 1983, 16 hoteliers in Franconia came together to form a cooperation and laid the foundation for one of the largest hotel cooperations in Germany. In the same year, further hotels joined the cooperation. In the meantime, the hotel group has succeeded in establishing itself as a strong and dynamic hotel cooperation on the German market while preserving the traditional values: charming hospitality, reliable quality and a direct connection to the region have always been the focus of the cooperation philosophy. Even today, the more than 40 committed and creative hoteliers from mostly medium-sized, family-run hotels in the three to four-star area ensure with great commitment that the guests feel comfortable and experience real regionality. Flair hoteliers are mostly deeply rooted in their own region, so that the uniqueness of their home town is directly reflected in their flair hotels; through typical, culinary specialties of the area, through a regional flair in the hotel furnishings and architecture or exciting tips for sometimes unknown destinations.
The Flair Hotels offer a variety of options for the whole family, a retreat for those seeking relaxation, the right environment for business travelers or exciting attractions even for the youngest guests – whether young or old, everyone feels at home in the Flair Hotels. Because with Flair you can simply take a deep breath, take in the “smell” of the region, relax, recharge your batteries, let yourself be pampered, experience and get to know new things and be active.
Many Flair Hotels are located on the most beautiful cycling and hiking trails and on numerous bodies of water. The endless hiking and cycling opportunities range from the Black Forest to the Sauerland, the Thuringian or Bavarian Forest to the Ore Mountains and more. Numerous Flair Hotels meet the criteria of the German Hiking Association and are certified by them as “quality hosts for hikers in Germany”. Many Flair Hotels have also been awarded the “Bett+Bike” seal by the General German Bicycle Club.
